Making Disciples
While our construction division focuses on housing projects and skilled trade training, our discipleship division focuses on individual and group discipleship, as well as community outreach, worship nights, and conferences—all focused on making disciples.
Our team defines discipleship as learning to love and follow Jesus, imitating His example in all areas of life. We believe that as we walk in accordance to His teachings, individual lives and communities will be transformed.
We engage in several types of discipleship, from young adult summer camps to weekly Bible Studies. Whether in a one-on-one or a group setting, our discipleship programs all aim to (1) increase confidence in reading the Word of God, (2) offer structure and consistency, and (3) provide practical ways to apply the truths learned in the Scriptures.
If you are interested in being discipled or joining one of our discipleship groups, please fill out the form below. We hope to make some of our curriculums and video resources available for small group settings in the near future!
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Matthew 28:19-20

What Others are Saying
Kari Riddle:
Jordan and I did discipleship together for about two and a half years after I struggled with a long season of grief and anger with God. To say that it was life changing for me is in no way an overstatement. After a time of distancing myself from the Lord, I wanted to get back into the Word and deepen my relationship with God, but felt intimidated and ill equipped to do so. Although I grew up in church, there was so much context and truth about the complexities of who God is and what He wants for us that I sometimes didn’t understand. However, Jordan’s careful and intentional teaching was an absolute game changer for me as we discussed topics like the Holy Spirit, the Gospels, books of the Bible, and much more. There was no shortage of hard conversations or tears over those two and a half years, but Jordan’s heart and unwavering devotion to serve our Father and His people led her to dive right into those conversations with so much love, compassion, and tenacity. Not only was I spending more time in the Word, which was a big goal for me, but I was also growing in my ability to talk to others about the Word and what I was learning as I was learning it. I used to feel like I had to have things totally “figured out” before I could share or help others in their walk with God, but discipleship totally flipped that notion and I experienced so much freedom, revelation, and authority. The discipleship model that Jordan and Matt use makes it easy to discuss the Word of God in a way that is not intimidating as it gives each person an opportunity to share their takeaways about what stands out in a passage, what those verses say about God, about us as people, and then to apply those things practically. Jordan and Matt truly live out their motto of “until every Prodigal comes home” and that is evidenced in the way that Jordan teaches, supports, and loves God’s people. Even those that come to them unexpectedly, in a teary mess at Panera
Houston Sloan, Jr:
“I’m deeply grateful for people like Matt—those who look beyond my flaws and see the person God is shaping me to be. He has spoken truth with grace, challenged me with love, and called me higher. Our time is rooted in the Word, and through Scripture, Prayer, and Fellowship, the time has been life giving. These moments have not only shaped my understanding but have drawn me closer to Christ. Discipleship is not a program; it’s a relationship—and this one is a gift I treasure deeply.”
Kennedy Cox:
Discipleship is so much more than just a relationship with God fearing people. It is a flourishing relationship with the Lord. It taught me to lean into him in ways I didn’t think was possible. I remember praying out loud for people being such a scary thing for me, but Jordan led me through it, and now I can say that I pray out loud for people in my current church, during family gatherings, and even when I’m alone. Internalizing prayer made me fall into the trap of internalizing my relationship with Jesus, but I praise God that those chains are broken and I am professing my relationship with Christ to so many people! I am so grateful for discipleship for helping me to love out loud, and I would encourage everyone to become a part of a small group or discipleship group so that they can grow in their relationship with the Lord, too.
Nick Miceli:
“My journey with the Lord has seen many seasons since I came to faith in 2017. Some of the strongest times were early on when God placed our family in a small group where we had deep fellowship. When we relocated to another state in 2019, we lost the ability to be with our small group. It was during this time I worked to study the Bible and walk with the Lord alone. I often felt like I was failing. It seemed I was simply reading words on a page in a book that I could not connect with. These feelings led to frustration and long periods of time where I was not spending time in His word. Meeting Matt was a connection from God. His understanding of God’s Word coupled with his grace and patience has helped me understand how to truly have a relationship with Jesus. Discipleship is not just important; it is part of Gods plan for his kingdom!”
Abigail Dryden:
“Being discipled by Jordan has truly changed the way I see the Lord and the Word of God. I have seen the fruit of diving deep into scripture and learning how to apply it to my life each week. I am no longer intimidated by scripture but feel encouraged after reading it and want it more than ever. Jordan is the best teacher, and the Spirit uses her to help things make sense."
