Impacting Our Community
Kingdom Overflow Ministries exists to train and equip disciples to live purpose-driven lives and demonstrate the Gospel of the Kingdom. To that end, the heart of our construction team is twofold. First, to disciple men and women, train them in skilled trades, and then offer them meaningful employment. Second, to serve widows, low-income families, and—most recently—homeowners devastated by Hurricane Helene by repairing and restoring their homes as a tangible way to display the love of Jesus Christ.
Our team is made up of licensed contractors and experienced carpenters, and—while our ministry is a nonprofit—our construction division is set up as a for-profit, so our team can also take on jobs for new builds, renovations, plumbing, and excavation services. For paid jobs, a percentage of the profit goes back into funding the ministry jobs, so we can keep those services free of charge to the homeowner.
We are also grateful to partner with WAMY Community Action to support low-income families in making their homes safer, whether fixing a leaking roof or addressing other structural and weatherization concerns.

I started working on my house back in July. By February, I was worn out & nearly defeated. I could never imagine I would be sitting on my porch and relaxing with hot running water and a safe clean kitchen to cook in. I even have doors that shut and a floor that doesn’t shake with every step I take! I had a vision for my home, but it was not nearly as beautiful as it is right now. My vision was much more primitive and barely assessing my basic needs, but I was blessed abundantly, above and beyond!
Kingdom Overflow made my condemnable house a home. All I asked for was running hot water but they saw my needs and fulfilled them in ways I could never imagine. The workers and HVAC team worked late hours and put care into my home. I think of them every time I walk into my house and will never ever forget how incredible they were to me.
This house is a miracle home. God has renewed my faith in a way that can never be broken for I have seen how He works and how He uses others to share His blessings! My life has changed forever, and I hope to share the love of Jesus Christ in the same awesome, selfless way it has been shared with me!

The team members were like angels who showed up everyday with kind and helpful dispositions to bless our family. They worked hard not to disrupt our daily lives. One of the guys even fell in love with our dog, and they were fast friends.
The work is above and beyond. Not only is it done with great skill but because each and every person wanted to show love in their work, there were little extras like fixing a broken exterior step, or moving rocks to help with landscaping that showed how much they cared about us as a family. They even asked if we liked the donated flooring—if the color and style were okay with us! We were so grateful to be receiving a floor, we couldn’t believe that our opinion even mattered.
The repairs done to our little mountain home, on a dirt road in Meat Camp, have the quality and beauty of fancy renovations in an expensive Blowing Rock home. They worked with excellence and diligence, showing the utmost honor and respect to us every step of the way.
