In 2023, the Lord led us to establish Kingdom Overflow Properties—a construction company where the Gospel of the Kingdom meets the marketplace. What began as a vision to disciple people has grown into a ministry that restores homes, equips workers, and displays the love of Jesus in practical ways.
For us, every home is ministry. When we step onto a jobsite, we don’t just repair walls or replace roofs. We also pray with families, share the Gospel, and serve with excellence. If a homeowner qualifies for ministry support, the repair costs are covered. And when someone hires us for a paid project—whether it’s a new build, renovation, plumbing, or excavation—part of that profit goes directly back into funding free repairs for families in need.
But the work doesn’t stop with homeowners. A key part of our mission is to disciple and equip our employees. From life skills to skilled trades, our goal is to raise up men and women who can carry the Kingdom of God wherever He leads them. Many of those we employ are young adults aging out of foster care, individuals coming out of recovery, or others searching for hope and purpose.
We call this “raising up the orphans to serve the widows”—and it’s both literal and figurative. As we disciple and train those in need of family, we send them out to serve widows, single parents, low-income families, and others often overlooked in our community.

I started working on my house back in July. By February, I was worn out & nearly defeated. I could never imagine I would be sitting on my porch and relaxing with hot running water and a safe clean kitchen to cook in. I even have doors that shut and a floor that doesn’t shake with every step I take! I had a vision for my home, but it was not nearly as beautiful as it is right now. My vision was much more primitive and barely assessing my basic needs, but I was blessed abundantly, above and beyond!
Kingdom Overflow made my condemnable house a home. All I asked for was running hot water but they saw my needs and fulfilled them in ways I could never imagine. The workers and HVAC team worked late hours and put care into my home. I think of them every time I walk into my house and will never ever forget how incredible they were to me.
This house is a miracle home. God has renewed my faith in a way that can never be broken for I have seen how He works and how He uses others to share His blessings! My life has changed forever, and I hope to share the love of Jesus Christ in the same awesome, selfless way it has been shared with me!

The team members were like angels who showed up everyday with kind and helpful dispositions to bless our family. They worked hard not to disrupt our daily lives. One of the guys even fell in love with our dog, and they were fast friends.
The work is above and beyond. Not only is it done with great skill but because each and every person wanted to show love in their work, there were little extras like fixing a broken exterior step, or moving rocks to help with landscaping that showed how much they cared about us as a family. They even asked if we liked the donated flooring—if the color and style were okay with us! We were so grateful to be receiving a floor, we couldn’t believe that our opinion even mattered.
The repairs done to our little mountain home, on a dirt road in Meat Camp, have the quality and beauty of fancy renovations in an expensive Blowing Rock home. They worked with excellence and diligence, showing the utmost honor and respect to us every step of the way.
